If you are using Mac, click on the menu bar, click on iTunes, and choose Check for Updates. If you are using Windows, click on the menu bar, click on Help, and choose Check for Updates.

 Solution No.2: Reinstall iTunes and related programs.

If updating the software was not helpful, remove iTunes from your computer completely. Also, remove the following programs:

  • Bonjour
  • Apple Application support
  • Apple Mobile Device Support
  • Apple Software Update

 Solution No.3: Restart your phone and your computer.

Often, when the error occurs, users forget about the basic solutions which work in many situations. What you need to do is to restart your computer, and your iPhone. Once you do that, try to update or restore your device. Maybe the error will be gone.

Sometimes, error 3003 is related to your Internet connection. Restart your modem and try again.
