Your iPhone’s capacity is full, or you have a large number of saved messages and heavy texting conversations. Deleting some of those messages and conversations can be very helpful. Open the Messaging app and delete the messages.


Solution: 2. Force an app to close

Try force-quitting your SMS application in order to reboot the program and solve unresponsive problems. You can do this from the Recent Apps bar. Once you have closed the application you can launch it again. Here is what to do:

  • Tap on the Home button two times
  • Find the Message app
  • Swipe up and close it
  • Go back to the Home screen and launch the app.


Solution No: 3: Restart your iPhone
